Chimps are one of my favourite animals to draw, I think because of their very human-like emotive eyes. I chose to capture this contemplative pose for this chimps portrait to depict the characteristic of being referred to as ‘the watcher’. It also reveals the fascinating lines and textures of the chimps hand. If you feel connected to this painting you may identify the chimpanzee as your spirit animal, its characteristics include curiosity, intuition and sociability.
