Great apes and monkeys are one of favourite animals to draw. My very first introduction into conservation work was when I became a finalist for Explorers against extinction’ ‘sketch for survival’ competition in 2022. As a result my orangutan drawing titled ‘Hope’ sold for charity. Inspired by this, I have since adopted two endangered animals, an orangutan and a pangolin. My gorilla painting ‘a moment in time’ and orangutan drawing ‘14,000’ both come with a charity donation included. ‘Our home’ (macaque monkeys) includes a 100% charity donation. I have exciting plans for 2025 to add to my ‘great apes and monkeys’ collection.
