Doorbell of dreams…I pitched my art to Richard Branson and Simon Squibb!

On the 8th February I took my art to Virgin Hotel in Shoreditch, London to press a doorbell…this doorbell has the potential to scale the visibility of my art in ways you can’t imagine. After reading ‘what’s your dream?’ book by Simon Squibb I felt even more inspired to have the courage share my vision with the world.

I had 60 seconds to pitch my dream, here’s how it went…

Making my way there I was a little apprehensive, although I’ve been living my dream for being a full-time artist for almost 3 years now, this was my first time actually pitching my business out loud. Being online is one thing, but taking my art to the city and having the pitch recorded for potentially millions of people to watch, was a step out of my comfort zone.

The initiative behind the doorbell pitch is HelpBnk, a community based platform that helps entrepreneurs pursue their dreams with the chance of both receiving support and offering your support to others also pursuing their passions.

The pitch itself was great. I talked about the ‘why’ behind my art…to celebrate pets, spread hope and joy and use my wildlife artwork to raise awareness and funds for endangered animals. I showcased ‘cool cat’ and talked of my next goal to sell the painting so I can donate a portion of the proceeds to go towards adopting an Amur tiger. With currently less than 500 of these magnificent animals left in the wild so they need our help. You can find more of my ‘endangered animals’ artworks within my shop by clicking here.

I asked for visibility so I can share my art with more of the world and create a larger impact within wildlife conservation.
Perhaps you’re reading this and you also have a dream. If so, I encourage you to read Simon Squibb’s ‘what’s your dream?’ book.
